Week 6 - in confinement with Chloë Lum and Yannick Desranleau
Updated: May 12, 2020
This week’s theme: arts and politics
Can domesticity be political? The artist duo Chloë Lum & Yannick Desranleau have agreed to reflect for us this week on the situation of the "body" that stays at home and the role of domesticity in productivity. The current period of confinement puts their own artistic approach into perspective in an interesting way. Doesn't it remind you of the famous feminist slogan of the 1960s "the private is political"?
The exhibition Treasures Are Hopes Made Solid to Catch the Light and Also the Dust by Chloë Lum & Yannick Desranleau is presented at the Musée d'art de Joliette until July 2020. TO PARTICIPATE IN QUARANTINED MUSEUM Arts and politics is the theme of the week. You have until Wednesday, April 29 at noon to send us your creations inspired by this theme.
